Karen Asfeld began Asfeld Tax Service in January of 1996 from her farm home providing tax service for individuals, farms and business. At that time she offered tax service by appointment only enabling her to develop a relationship with each client, understanding the uniqueness of their situation, and how their business was operated to ensure they would get all the tax credits they are entitled to.

In January of 2009 Asfeld moved her business office “uptown”, now located in the American Heritage Bank Building on Hwy 71 in Browerville, Minnesota. This provided her the ability to hire a highly qualified and friendly staff to assist her with clients making it possible to have regular hours for those who prefer to drop off their tax information. In 2009 Asfeld achieved recognition from the IRS as an enrolled agent.

We offer services for Individual, Farm, Business, Bookkeeping, and Payroll.

We are open 8:30 to 5:00 Monday through Friday and 9:00 to 2:00 on Saturdays during the tax filing season. Available after hours and throughout the year by appointment.
